CHATEAU TALBOT
Chateau Talbot, located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, is known for its red wine and is one of the ten Quatriemes Crus Classes (Fourth Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. At the beginning of the 20 th century, Chateau Talbot was purchased by Desire Cordier, and the current owners are Lorraine Cordier and Nancy Bignon Cordier, the 4th generation of the Cordier family to own the winery. Chateau Tablot’s 110-hectare vineyard extends to the border with the Paulliac appellation, making it one of the largest vineyards in Bordeaux. All of the grapes are picked by hand and the juice is aged in wood or stainless steel barrels, depending on which plots of grapes are used.
