CHATEAU RAUZAN-SEGLA
Chateau Rauzan-Segla, located in the Margaux appellation in Bordeaux, is known for its beautiful red wines as well as its vast history stretching back 350 years. Owned by the Wertheimer family of Chanel and managed by the winemaking team of David Orr and Nicholas Audebert, Rauzan-Segla consists of 51 hectares of land. The chateau was something of an underperformer until former director John Kolasa took the reins and systematically lifted the quality. In recent vintages Rauzan-Segla has become consistently one of the top-rated and most sought-after Margaux estates. The vineyard is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, and the winery currently produces over 8000 cases each year.
