CHATEAU LEOVILLE POYFERRE

Chateau Leoville Poyferre, located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, is one of the fifteen Deuxiemes Crus (Second Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. Since 1920, it has been owned and managed by the Cuvelier family, who has expanded the vineyard to over 80 hectares. Since then, the combination of the age of the vineyard, the improvements by Didier Cuvelier, and the steady investment in the cellars have enabled Poyferre to produce wine that shows exceptional depth and expression. The wine is aged in oak barrels for up to 20 months.
