Gualdo Del Re is an idyllic 40 hectare estate and winery situated on low hills immediately inland from the Mediterranean Sea in Suvereto on the famed Tuscan Coast. Indeed, the winery boasts superb views of the island of Elba, famed as the site of Napoleon’s early 19th century exile. This family-owned and operated estate is currently helmed by the fifth-generation of the Rossi family. The estate’s organic vineyards were once the hunting grounds of the Holy Roman Emperors and abut a number of Tuscany’s most renowned wineries. These exceptional wines are made by noted enologist Barbara Tamburini.
