EXPERIENCE WINES
Travis and Catherine Vale met while traveling in New Zealand, bonding over a shared love of travel, wine and food. After marrying in 2004, they moved back to Travis’ native California, both eventually taking jobs in the wine industry. In 2010, they started to branch out and began growing grapes and launched a wine brand. They eventually acquired a vineyard and home in Napa’s Oak Knoll, in the process making their business a true family affair. Their wines merge the vibrant fruit for which Napa is renowned with a depth and elegance born of time-consuming artisanal methods usually only found in wines at the highest price tiers. Experience Wines, the name they chose for the wine brand, pays homage to the tour bus (the ‘Kiwi Experience’) on which they met and exemplifies their credo – “life is a journey, not a destination.”
