Domaine Christiane Chambeyron-Manin, located in the northern section of the Cote-Rotie appellation, is a third-generation micro-winery now owned and run by superb wine-maker Veronique Manin. The name of the domaine incorporates the names of Veronique’s mother (Chistiane), her grandfather (Chambeyron), and her father (Manin). The domaine produces a singular wine from the minute 0.5 hectare vineyard of Syrah vines on the hill of Cote-Brune (with annual production rarely exceeding 200 cases). The vines themselves, which are over 50 years old, are also rooted in history, and all vineyard work on this steep plot is done by hand.

The farming used at this vineyard is sustainable. Only organic methods are used so that there are no unnatural byproducts. The grapes are vinified using whole clusters with native yeasts and then aged for 18 months in concrete barrels.
