DOMAINE ALEX GAMBAL
Alex Gambal left behind a life in the United States to become a winemaker in Burgundy. After attending Lycée Viticole in Beaune, he established Maison Alex Gambal in 1997 with the goal of creating wines of character, terroir and purity, by teaming modern facilities with centuries-old Burgundian traditions. He has since established an impressive, gravity-fed winemaking facility, has accumulated his own acreage in prestigious communes (including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pommard, Volany, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, even vines in Bâtard-Montrachet) and has developed an international following.
